As it was said--This was to be a 'Display Piece'. But I do wonder what would happen with some Pro Welding and some heat treating.

The Glue Gun? You got me there
Here is my humble collection.
I recently got several double bits to play with. The painted ones need clean up and all are getting new handles eventually.
Got distracted by some very nice knives and came across the well-respected Winkler brand. High end axes / tomahawks are another specialty of theirs as evidently variants of these are very popular with the military:

Don't really know axes but I came across this one and thought it was.cool. C. M. McClung & Co. I think it's a carving axe.

I love the handle.
Had a 2 1/4lbs. W. Germany axe head I found cheap a while back. Also had the perfect size vintage hickory handle for it so I decided to try my hand at hanging. A lot of spoke shaving and I finally got a perfect fit. Also thinned the handle down quite a bit until it felt good. Really happy with the results. Going to try my hand at a leather mask as well.
Sporting a stupid sharp edge as well. ‘Twas a fun project. Good trade bait with my bushcraft buddies! :)
