Thanks for the warm welcome for those asking I'm from Newcastle NSW.

Where should I head to for information about getting good shaving cream and aftershave in Australia?

Have a look in the Down Under forum. We have a thread there with quite a few links to Australian suppliers.

Best is a bit subjective, body shop does a nice maca root cream for fairly cheap, I have a crabtree and evelyn lime cream which is nice but not really any better, I have some fauldings shave cream which is Very cheap but acceptable, palmolive shave sticks are cheap and good. These are just my opinions.

Well, best I've ever used would be Penhaligon's shave cream, one of the several varieties can be had from KineticBlue.com. There are probably other creams out there that are just as good or better. Best of the shave creams in a more affordable bracket would be 'Wahl Traditional Shave Cream'. Good and cheap would be Fauldings or Palmolive. The two best Australian sites would be Mensbiz.com and Himage.com If one site doesn't stock something, the other usually will have it.
Same applies to AS's, and those sites stock a nice variety to choose from.

    Welcome to the 'Place' Mitch.
