    Default Aloha from Stockholm, Sweden

    Hi fellow enthusiasts,

Been shaving with a safety razor since 1 1/2 years and decided to gently start with the knife. Appreciate a lot both the old genuine things and the attentive relaxed care this kind of shaving cultivates. Since I am just about to start I will have more questions than answers, just so you are prepared.

Otherwise I am a fan of shaving brushes made from horse ...

    Take care
    yours Corax

    Hi again,

I have a knife but not yet a strop. Have heard that it is easy for the untrained to damage a strop and plan therefore to start of with a real cheap one. Found this on ebay, is it possible to judge the quality, can a strop be so bad it does not at all perform its function?
