Heddiw dda i chi o Gymru (Good day to you from Wales)
Hello all, literally just registered on the site & looking to get seriously into the art of a straight razor shave. Don't own a razor, currently browsing through the classifieds to see if i can pick myself up a nice blade which i can learn to hone and strop. I'm only 18 & was never taught to shave properly(was only told to slap shaving cream on and go over with a disposable), i learned on my own accord and i know that the straight razor shave is a long journey to master and a steep learning curve but i'm willing to put in the effort. There is a certain Zen to having a good shave which really attracts me

Pete, looks like you've found your first inductee into your school of man .
Welcome Mr peters, the above refers to a different thread, Bombay is called Pete, you guys could have been made for each other.
Feel free to ask questions, but it is worth using the search function too, lots of stuff has already been answered. Where in Wales are you?Bread and water can so easily become tea and toast

Thanked: 983Ie, ychydig yn. Ond nid cymaint ag y dylwn. Rwy'n well รข'r Saesneg. Dw'i Awstralian/Cymraeg. Fy nhad oedd y Cymro. And since I am better 'yn Saisneg' (I'm sorry to say), and for the ease of the others, I'll switch to English. My Welsh isn't as good as it should be considering my heritage, so forgive any grammatical errors etc. in my answers above. I promise I'll practice more , but I have no one to talk to yn gymraeg yma. Fi nhad has long since passed sadly, ac y Gymraeg siaradwriau (?) are a bit hard to find around here .
