    Forgot to mention that I have restrained RAD on scuttles, etc. A bowl from Goodwill for 1.99, a Georgetown G20 for a lot of money and a handmade one by a granddaughter, plus a small coffee cup warmer to put the scuttles on for warm lather all the way through three passes. Holding the line on three brushes, a VDH that I like and two horsehair brushes from Turkey that are interesting. Three different sizes to see what i really like and then pass what i don't want on to a buddy. No face lathering for me, get my goatee to messy.

    Hang on, that's actually SAD & SAD, soap and scuttle aquisition disorder.

    Yeah, that was a weird experience, I must say. If it had been a little less bizarre I would have followed up with what I discovered vis a vis the ChefsChoice settings but honestly I was so offput that I decided to just terminate my reading of the thread to preserve my usually calm and easy going outlook :-)

    Good to hear you've got your self stones now and are shaving. Watck out for all the AD's. They switch at a moments notice from razors, stones ,strops ,soaps, brushes etc etc. Anyhow welcome and good luck
