Wow...the only thing missing from Sunsweet's tantrum was holding his breath and pounding his honing calloused hands on the floor.
Guess, that's OK though, he can put it in the closet along with his Karate Gi, his guitar, and all the other things he tried that he wasn't great at right away.
Just read the whole thread...forgot to add to the tantrum remark, "putting hands over his ears and yelling, blah, blah, blah...I'm not listening to you!!"
"It is my razor, it's fate is in MY HANDS and it will NEVER be sent out!" And I couldn't get the idea out of my head that the guy from the movie, "Borat" was trolling the board?

Thanked: 983Someone give this man a gold star and a gummi bear for smart thinkin' . You are in the right place if you want to learn, and that is the best start. I think you'll do just fine, like the other 99.9% of us that have tried. And as we say here in Oz, "No point in whingin'! Nobody listens to ya when ya do anyway!". Usually the person that says this is the biggest whinger around though, so don't go around saying it, unless it's at someone

It's interesting that sunsweet when he first joined posted a few times about how terrible, uncomfortable and generally rubbish cart razors were, he also dsaid he had a D/E which I guess he has give up on too.
I also think he would HAVE to sell the razor for cheap if he was going.to as it sounds like it had issues from the start despite being "one of the best they make", and after 6 months of abortive honing I cant imagine.what the blade is like now, I wonder what the scales are worth.Bread and water can so easily become tea and toast

I actually found his post really amusing to read. LOL. But in the end, it's simply not for everyone. And that's ok too. But just because one person has found the whole process unrewarding doesn't mean that the next will too. But I can personally attest to the fact that SR shaving CAN deliver the best and most close shave there is. It didn't work out for this gentleman but I guess that's life. You can't win 'em all.
