Thread: Hello from Texas.

Hello, I live in central Texas just noth of Austin. I started collecting Str8's this year and found this forum when I was researching one of my finds. I never gave much thought to shaving with one until I started reading this board.

I broke my back in 2007 and 4 surgeries later I'm still taking large amounts of pain medication and can't work. This leaves me with way too much time on my hands so I've decided to give SRS a try. I've been lurking around for a month or so and have most of what I need or have it on the way.

I'm sure I'll have some questions before and after my first attempt next week.

Welcome to the forum Richard. We sure do seem to be getting a few more Texicans around the place. Any questions just ask mate. All the members here are good blokes, all to willing to help if and where they can.

Thanks, a Texas meet and greet would be great. I used to live by you in Dickinson but we got tired of running over here every hurricane so in 2010 bought a place just north of Austin. I don't miss the humidity
