I won't make specific recommendations on what's currently available in the Classifieds, but have a look in the razors section of the forum at the various brands and makes available from the vintage era - there are loads. One of my personal favourites, not least because they are ubiquitous in Australia, is the Bengall by Cadman. Very nice little shavers. But of course there are many others that are good too.

The most important thing is to make sure what you get is in good shape - not too much, or uneven, hone wear (flattening of the spine from lots of honing); rust free (may have some patina, a lot of mine do), blade looks symmetric and the edge is either straight or "smiling" (avoid "frowning" edges), scales in good shape with no cracks, pins reasonably tight, etc. Preferably it will be shave-ready from the seller.

    Good Luck!

    James.
