Thanked: 1184You got some nice gear and if you go slow and pay attention you won't get more than a kitty scratch now and then. Keep your GF out of the bathroom while shaving. You know how they hate to be wrong :<0)
Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

There is a video somewhere of a feller using a straight for the first time, he didn't know what he was doing, didn't have tge right equipment etc and banged the razor into the video camera while he had it to his throat, but he only needed 4 stitches, the moral of this story is, even an idiot trying really hard can't kill himself inadvertently so if you use some.proper gear (which it sounds like you are), and learn what to do (which it seems you are), don't record your first shave (i assume you wont) then you should be fine.

Thanked: 0Hi ssuppal
I'd like to welcome you and offer support. I'm only eagerly awaiting my third shave. Yes shave number 3 coming up. Yeah am I excited. I say go for it and if there is one piece of advice I can give at this early stage is take your time. There ain't no rush. It feels good and makes for a great sense of accomplishment. All the best. Let us know how you get on. Need a shave report.
