Thanked: 0Well, I finally ordered a strop and my razor is back in Canada from being honed. A few more weeks and I might be putting my DE razors on the back burner

Thanked: 0Well, I got my razor back from getting honed and had my first (partial) straight shave this morning. I originally intended to only use the straight from sideburns to jawline, but got a little carried away and ended getting most of the right side of my face. I was surprised at the tugging (thinking it was partially due to angle) but didn't really have any problems. I finished up my save with my DE, and was very surprised to have zero audible feedback when going over the areas I had covered with the straight. I was not expecting anything this close from one pass!
