Hi all
I'm a New Zealander living in Melbourne who has been lurking for quite a while.
I've been wet shaving with a brush and soap for about three years now and am glad I made the switch. Admittedly I've been using a DE for most of that time but I have acquired a straight and have used it for around about 30 shaves so far. I'm still learning a lot, and have been reading as much as possible about conquering the straight. I don't yet use it every day, which is something I hope to change soon. My skin has suffered a bit when I've used it daily in the past which I think is due to my angle and pressure.
If I don't post heaps it's because I'm mostly reading and taking notes!

G'day kiwichris. Welcome to the forum. My suggestion is that you need to take the crutch away of not using a straight everyday and you'll find that your shaves will improve in leaps and bounds.
