    One thing I wasn't sure about the kit is that the strop says it's leather and cloth, but upon opening appears to have one rougher leather, one smoother, and possibly some kind of cloth/microfiber/microfleece kind of material on the back of the smooth leather. May need to contact the vendor and find out. I'm not sure which strop, the rougher or smoother leather, would be best for daily use. I would assume the smoother? Then use the rougher for when the blade gets a bit less sharp?

    For daily use you'll want to use the smooth leather
