Welcome aboard. I knew some folks from Nanticoke when I was at Ft Dix! Small world.
I agree with Tarkus...this is a great place to pick up a lot of info fast. You surely want to really the SRP introductory material and watch the videos if you haven't already. There's a wealth of info and some great links in the wiki.
Again welcome!Last edited by Haroldg48; 02-10-2014 at 01:07 AM.

Welcome!
You will find members here of all different backgrounds, ages and occupations from all corners of the world and all with a quest for more knowledge about using and maintaining a straight razor!
If you take the time to search, 99.9% of your questions can be found in the Library (WIKI) however feel free to ask us about whatever it is that you are wondering about or having a problem with. It does help if you’ve done some research before hand so it narrows the problem down a bit.
I know of one experienced member who is in PA I'll give him an email and see if he can help you out!!
Trust Me! Sitting down and learning hands on will teach you so much more than reading and watching videos!
I'll send a message to him as soon as I post this!
Again, Welcome!!Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdin’s cave of 'stuff'.

Thanked: 3Awesome. I have time and the willingness to learn as much as i can. I know Straits give the nicest feel hands down. I used to love when i had a barber use a SR8 on my neck after a haircut. which no one does around anymore that i know of. I do like my DE but the self rewarding of a ST8 cant be beat.. Just getting the right razor that will last me a lifetime is where i stand while i learn to do it properly. and finding a decent cream/soap. I have proraso cream and VDH soap but i know there is better.
