Hi and welcome. Laying the strop on a flat surface to start with can help make stropping easier to learn as you don't need to worry about strop tension. Good luck and any questions feel free to ask.

I received my Sight Unseen today. It says Wilbert on the tang. First shave succesful without any major amputations. The larger edge compared to my shavette takes some getting used to. All in all I am very pleased. Here Is a link to my reddit post. I am having trouble posting pics from my phone.
