    Default Hello From Las Vegas

Name's Joe from Las Vegas. Just caught the bug, been looking and lurking on the site for about a month. I just acquired my first vintage straight razor and started buying all the accessories. I now have the straight razor fever and can't wait to begin my journey into wet shaving.

Welcome to the forum. And have fun on your journey
    Sometimes I feel normal.
Then it's time to lay down and wait for it to pass.

Welcome MrDirty! As you can see, I too am a Jr. Member (new) on this forum as well! I just like to to say Hi and Welcome folks who are new to this like myself. I had my second straight razor (SR) shave this morning. Though, following expert advise, I'm starting out slowly. I've only shave the strong side of my face thus far as I begin to get a feel of the SR in my hand.

I have to admit, I barely nicked my cheek as I started working closer to my chin. I'm not used to that much razor against my face. I'm positive it won't be my last nick though!

I'll be watching NASCAR on TV next week; they'll be there in Las Vegas. I hope to visit that speedway soon. I'm headed to KS this Spring to watch 'em go 'round.

Enjoy your journey. This is the most fun I've had (in a new hobby) in 10 years!
