    Default Howdy from Franklin, Tn

Hey guys Mark here from Franklin, accomplished wet shaver being brought over to the world of straight razors and really enjoying it. I've been at it for a couple of weeks with a 5/8" Thiers Issard special coiffeur.

Glad to be apart of this forum and I also notice some of the guys are into stogies as well.

Im needing some guidance apart from Lynns videos.

I hear audible feedback and some whisker is removed however I am not getting a real clean shave, lots of stubble still.
IM stretching skin tight, applying about a spine to spine and a half of angle 25 degrees?

    Thoughts?

    Thank you

    Mark

I purchased from vintage blade and was told it was honed.
it will cut arm hair and clean up some stubble. I just want to make sure im
on the right track with proper kit.
I ordered a ralf aust from SRD which I know will be sharp.

i guess I will know when the new straight shows up.

Howdy back and welcome to SRP. Yes, many members are into cigars. Another common interest is guns. I don't know what the connection is, but I like all of the above.
