Thanked: 0Hello everyone!
Hello everyone! My name is John, and it's an honor to join this community. I am just a beginner to straight razors. I'm actually in the market for my first razor, and very excited to get started!
I'm not really good at introducing myself, never know what to say. If anyone wants to know anything ask! I hope to see you all in the forums!

Welcome to SRP!
Reading the beginner's tips and watching the videos is a great way to start.
You might also want to give is a general idea where you live it helps you find local resources and mentors who might be able to meet with you in person and that will really get you moving in the right shaving direction quickly.
Ask before your buy the first razor as there are many razor shaped items out there and most of them will not shave you.
enjoy,

Welcome, John, we're delighted to have you here. Yes, there is plenty of reading to do, but beyond that, ask your questions and you'll have your answers in no time.
