Welcome, your in the best spot to acquire knowledge in this sport. As to your beard growing out faster that I don't understand , the shaves I get from my straights are so close , I'm tempted to go another day between shaves because it's stubble but not very much , yet I do shave because I first I love it, and second it's required , maybe the shave tote just isn't getting you that close of a shave ,, it's a learning curve , once you get to the real straight maybe this will change.
