Hey AZ folks, I'm in Chandler and would be thrilled for an AZ meetup. I don't mind a drive. I've been SR shaving for a couple months. Just got a DE that's fun for quick shavesshaves. Count me in if & when.

six, If you are ever down in Phoenix on a weekend, I would be happy to give you a honing lesson. PM if you are interested.

In terms of commuting, have you considered living in New River of Black Canyon City? These places are not nearly as urban/suburban as Anthem, but they would decrease your commute up North while not being too far from Phoenix metro.

I'm a big fan of Lynn's videos. I've been practicing on my 4k/8k using his techniques for a few weeks, and managed to get some great shaves out of an old straight from Whipped Dog. I have a Naniwa 12k in the mail, as well, that I'm excited to try.
I haven't seen any by Gssixgun, though. I'll have to check those out.

New River and BCC are a little too rural. The commute wouldn't be much of an issue since I'd only be making the trip once or twice per week. Shift work has its benefits in that regard.

A honing session would be awesome, though. I'll definitely shoot you a PM if I'm down that way any time soon.
