The trouble is, I don't think that he ever went that far with this "I become blue and dad gives me what I want" thing.

I'm not sure if he was too upset to stop locking his breath, or if he was perhaps scared of the scope of his little trick and couldn't find the way to start breathing again. I really don't know.

What I do know, however, is that he never did it again.

He's since found a much more pleasant way to ask for the stuff he wants now :

He comes up to me; starts to grin in an unbelievably cute way; kisses me on the cheek and then he asks.

And, as you might expect, it's very, very hard for me to resist

Don Vito11, two things have happened. 1. What you did has put him in fear of you (in a good way), and 2. He's also figured you out and has you wrapped abound his chubby little finger. All this will stand you in good stead when you become a father because you will know how to use a steel encased heart that gives them all the love and protection they need while still withstanding their demands.
