Hello there and welcome. ... looks like you are up for a good start here, i have the Same issue I think I'll watch some vids and see how other ppl shave and choose the method I can follow and stick with it. I'm new to SR myself, I'm sure some of the gurus in here will give you a better advise, Holland loss to Argentina was really not fair. .. Holland played some great games this cup. ... I wanted to see them in the finals.

I am very nearsighted in my right eye and because I don't use my glasses it was harder to see some of what I was doing. I found that if you go slow, you can do a good job with the areas you can't see well. It's scary at first but as you practice it will become easier.

Easing into it like you doing is the right thing. Sometimes the vision in my left eye interferes with seeing well and I just shut it. I think you only need one good eye to get the job done, although when starting out you want to watch everything very closely, try to use the feel of the blade on your skin to guide your hand. The corners of my jaw under my ears I can't really see and shave by feel alone. There are videos of people shaving with a straight while blindfolded.
Did you know there is a BeNeLux forum?

Welcome to SRP! My left eye is weaker and I can't see as well in some spots. I just shave by feel in those spots.

Welcome! I find that while I used to concentrate on seeing every stroke, but I have such large hands that is impossible. But after a few SLOW shaves I pretty much knew where the razor was on my face and seeing my face was more useful for seeing the spots I missed, which I can do almost as well by feel.
So, I think if you go slow and pay close attention to what you feel and where the razor is, seeing well isn't quite so important.Just call me Harold

Hi and welcome. I there are many threads on this when people have to remove glasses to shave or just can't see properly. Doing a search will get you a lot of people's answers to this question but in the end you just need to do it and learn what works for you as you go. Good luck
My wife calls me......... Can you just use Ed

All i can think of is multiple mirrors and good light, though as has been said there are many threads by people with simlar problems, perhaps razorfeld might chime in, i think he might be in a similar position (if not sorry richard) from what i have read you just get used to it, i have areas i cant properly see simply because i shave solely with my left hand, so i do them pretty much by feel.
