Thanked: 1thank you everyone for the help with that set, that was honestly why i wanted to post to the forum with it before i bought it, it seemed to be almost too good for the price, and now i see that it is. Back to the drawing board i go, I have been trying to research everything on here about buying your first straight. so i will definitely be continuing to do that and looking at vendors tryin to find a good blade. Going to avoid anything that looks too good to be true though

Hello, and welcome to SRP !! Thank you for your service !! I agree with the above post about the razor you have been looking at.
We have no control of what other people do or say to us, but we have control to how we REACT !! GOD BLESS

Welcome aboard, buckeyecoastie!!
CG Sector Hampton Roads covers a lot of territory; are you at the base? I'm in Suffolk, so we might be pretty close to one another. When you are dead, you don't know that you are dead. It's difficult only for the others.
It's the same when you are stupid.

Don't need to lash out with fancy scales etc on a first razor.
An entry level Dovo would be fine & will be your backup when your second razor is being honed. Don't have a 2nd razor yet ? You will. The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.
