Hello and Wecome to SRP!
Due to the kindness of a friend I received and use some eastern Europe products. You already have some of the finest shaving creams available right at home. And for an aftershave you have TARR and others at low cost. I believe that you may also have inexpensive shave brushes..
There are good razors available nearby to you. As for a good starter, most any well honed German, Russian or Polish would be a good start. It should be at least 14mm blade width. A local older barber may be your best bet for finding a mentor and some tools of the hobby.
The videos to watch when starting are the lather making ones and the shaving ones by persons that have been around a long time. The lather making ones to prepare the beard and stropping to prpare the razor.
If you can, start with a DE and then after you really know beard preparation then start with the straight.
A good quality strop and watching the videos can help a lot.
Again, Welcome!

Welcome to the most friendly, helpful and informative site on the web!!
You will find members here of all different backgrounds, ages and occupations from all corners of the world and all with a quest for more knowledge about using and maintaining a straight razor!
If you take the time to search, 99.9% of your questions can be found in the Library (WIKI) however feel free to ask us about whatever it is that you are wondering about or having a problem with. It does help if you’ve done some research before hand so it narrows the problem down a bit.
You've already received some very sound advice. As Razorfeld has pointed out; take your time. This age old art used to be handed down from father to son, or an uncle to nephew or even a neighbor to the boy down the road. Patience is the KEY, without patience it can't be mastered. I've seen it time and time again, in a world that seems to demand instant gratification it can be hard for some to learn to step back in time, a time when the world was much less hectic and enjoy getting a shave the way it's been done for centuries and I believe the way that it was intended to be done for all eternity.
It's a long strange trip, but well worth the journey
Again, a sincere Welcome! Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdin’s cave of 'stuff'.
