Personally i would get the one i prefered for now, and make sure i actually wanted to keep using a straight, give it a month or so, then pick up something else. Having a second razor is definately a good idea, especially as you will need to send your razors out for honing the first few times (well that is the usual way it works).
Bread and water can so easily become tea and toast
