    Thanks mate. Kind of you.

I'd love to know where you got them. I'm planning in visiting a local antique shop which has some straights. I'd have to have them honed though...

Hi and welcome. There are a fair few guys over east. Pretty sure at least 1 restores and sells razors. Pop your head in the downunder forum and the local guys will be able to help more. Good luck

I've picked up that Oz is the man to speak with about honing and all things SE! I think he even lives in Sydney as well. I'll definitely PM him- it was on my to-do list to look up his classified once I had access.
Oz won't steer you wrong he's forgotten more about honing and razors in general than I've ever learned. I wish we weren't separated by the Big Pond so he could teach me some of his knowledge. Yes he's in Sydney. If by chance you'd be interested in also learning some martial arts he can help on that also.

I'd love to learn from someone in person! That would be great. I think shaving with a straight has any components that are best learnt in person.

Thanks. Sometimes I want to rush things, so I'll remember to slow and enjoy the journey.

I've been looking in already at the Down Under forum... I'll definitely pop my head in.
