I'm going to post this every time I see the following: SE. Lets get our abbreviations correct. SE usually means Single Edge Safety Razor. DE usually means Double Edge Safety Razor. If we don't use Straight Razor in long form, for convenience and definitely clarity can we all use SR as the abbreviation for Straight Razor? There have been a number of variations, example: Stra8, ST8 and the long winded, A piece of hell spawned steel for scraping away your face.

I suspect that you are going to be fairly busy Richard, but you are right, getting our abbreviations etc right makes everyone's life easier. flatyre, don't get upset you are by no means the first to do that.

Didn't get my shorts in a bind. Just being exact about terminology to keep things from getting cloudy and misunderstood in the future.

I'm not upset. Just getting fussy in my old age. Clarity is essential to good communications. Didn't mean to sound like an old English teacher with a whip in hand.

Not upset, not even a little. Was just acknowledging the correction. No worries for sure
