Hey Everyone,
New member and first post on any kind of forum. My friend got me into Straight Razors and I have to say it adds a relaxing start to my day! Hopping I can learn alot on this forum and eventually help other! Not really sure where else to go with this.edhewitt likes this.

Welcome. I read solitary' post about your start. Sink and all. It sounds like you already have a mentor therefore a leg up on straight razor shaving

Yeah no he was great, I succesfully did a complete shave no problem did make a small cut right at the end patching up a spot. Once i feel comfortable that I won't ding it on the sink (whoops) I am going to buy a nice one with an older feel, been looking at some of the razors on the threads and they are art. Excited to see how adding this patient relaxing task to my morning routine will help me throughout the day! Saw the post about "cold water" shaving. not sure if i will get into it because I love the warm water but it is interesting

I hear you, atm I think im addicted to touching my face. been shaving since i was 13 (i was one of those kids) and my face hasn't felt this nice for a long time
