Marty, much appreciated. Will make everyone's lives a lot easier to have a fuller list.

Hi Sean & welcome to SRP. You will most importantly need to know how to use a strop but if you get with Euclid440, he'll be able to show you the ropes so to say. It's great he offered to help.

I’ll talk with the So Cal guys and we’ll add some names soon.

I have noticed a few states that aren't listed.

It was a pleasure to meet you and hope we can meet up again. I'm bad at names too but working on it! Shane here, and glad that Dovo felt nice. Seemed like it took a good edge. Talk to you soon.

I looked into the library and the beginner's guide and could not find the local help list. I did not find it until I did a google search for it.

That makes me suspect that it is not as readily available for beginners as it might be.

    Yea, we had a good time, Marty/Euclid440, Shane/Royalcake, Jerry/10pups & Zack/Voidmonster.

You and Dan/ludwigdan caught on pretty quick, honing a couple of razors each on stones and film.

Hopefully trying out some different stone, you will have a good idea of what the different stones feel like and performance you can expect.

It was a perfect So California day in the High 70’s just a stone’s throw from the beach. We honed under an umbrella on Shane’s patio table in the backyard.

Shane fed us tacos and we had a great time. Zack brought some new acquisition of great old steel as usual.

Was a great day, glad you enjoyed it, thanks Shane for hosting.

Looking forward to a 2015 meet tenativly scheduled for 4/26/15.

    Marty.

Marty you're always behind the camera! I'll take some next time.
It was a great time. Gotta do it more often. Looking forward to a spring meet!
