    Heh heh, no, wayne394, I'm in Berlin, but when all is started I was living very close to a specialty shop in Lübeck that had a small but tempting selection of straight razors and accoutrements. If nothing else, walking past there every day schooled my willpower.

    I regularly visit Berlin as my Son lives there. I also served there for a few years with the Army. Love Berlin. I'm looking forward to going back for a few days in a couple of months. Wonderful city.

    Thanks and welcome to you as well, Basetta70. No, I have not honed them myself, but I plan to do that very soon. The one on the far right of the photo has a poor edge, so I'll use it for practice once my water stones arrive. So much to learn!

    Me too but I have already water stones because of the knives. I need strop instead, have on target the dovo xl.
    I suggest to you to try pastes on balsa before hone that nice razor.
