    Welcome. If the razor is suppose to be shave ready do not strop it before your first shave. Speaking of which that is the only piece of gear you have not mentioned. Hopefully you either have one or have one inbound. There is a lot to learn, however it is not complicated, but it does require some repetition to get it right. The rewards are awesome.
