    Hi and welcome. Either razor will be fine and both are good quality. A 3 inch strop is helpful when starting out and as said something with medium draw is best to start with. Do plenty of reading or a search and you will find answers to most of your questions but if not feel free to ask. Good luck

    Welcome to the forum Travis. The Boker King Cutter is a great razor to start with. As for the strop, a 3" is easier to use than a 21/2" as you won't need to learn to x-stroke, but as already advised, don't spend a fortune on your first. You will almost definitely nick it, possibly so badly you'll ruin it. The most important thing... Enjoy your SR journey! Good luck.
