I read through a lot of threads here, and at the time thought a straight razor was a little too much for me to handle. So I jumped in with a DE and have been loving it ever since. Just a little bit more about myself; I'm a graduate student in engineering, and I tend to like things the "old fashioned way." Fountain pens, vinyl records, and classic shaving are a few of the things that confuse my friends and family.

This seems like an enormously friendly site, and I am definitely looking forward to being around!
