Having read a number of threads, I see there are plenty of people angry about having their posts, removed because they broke a rule, Ill be very tentative about posting any stories about razors :-/

I had a look at the rules they seem quite austere,Im probably going to lurk a bit, im not going to say what razors I have as I could get banned for that

Thanks for the thought, but the no advertising rule makes me feel very insecure, as soon as you mention a brand its advertising and I have seen quite a few historic posts from users posts being removed or the user being banned for arguing a point with a mod, lurking is safe, I have loads of questions, but im going to search the site for answers , rather than ask questions, youve been here a long time, so your safe.

Rules apply to all the same whether you have 1,000 posts or 11. Mentioning a brand-name is not advertising. Members do it here all of the time when recommending soaps, creams, blades, etc. You won't get banned for having a Gold Dollar either. See? I even said Gold Dollar.

Lurk if you want, but I still say you are being overly paranoid about being banned. Cheers!

Yeah, don't get worked up about stuff that is not actually an issue for you personally... There is a Process to Threads being moderated and, if unable to correct within the Thread, they are first Locked to allow Mods to contact/discuss with Admin and then they will contact the OP to explain things after which whatever adjustment would take place... Using the Gold Dollar as an example there is actually the "Gold Dollar" Thread where all new such posts are just moved into that one as there is never new information but rather repeats of the past that cause emotional flares and devolve into madness.

Read Threads, watch Videos and Post when you feel comfortable... It really is that simple... If, for whatever reason, you run into issues you will absolutely be treated like a gentleman by gentlemen... It takes a fair bit of deliberate hijinks to have more severe things to happen. And, you are New around this Forum so people are going to give you a break.
