I am pondering ... on the verge.. thinking of getting a Straight , so many choices to make.. im sure youll push me over the edge.. in a nice way ;-)

Hey there....I used to live in Deal. Since you are so close and if you are considering a straight razor, take a look at the Revisor razors....they are close to you in Germany and you cant go wrong with the quality. Customer service is first rate too.

Welcome to the forum newtonslife! Good to see another UK based member on here. Before you go and waste money on a razor shaped object, make sure you've done your homework. Read up on all the different threads here. So much to learn! If you buy a straight, you'll need a strop too, so take that into account.
Don't be afraid to ask questions. A great bunch of very knowledgeable members on here! Good luck.

For you, I'd imagine Sheffield steel would be what you'd be looking for in a straight razor, something say 100-250 years old?
