Thanked: 0Hi from portsmouth UK
Hello all, my name's Andrew started shaving with a shavette 3months ago and just moved up to a dovo that I lovingly restored with the help of this amazing website. I'm sure I've done it wrong and that although I'm shaving with it it's probably honed terribly but I'm loving the journey.

Thanked: 0Thanks for the warm welcome everyone currently have one 1940 dovo that I have badly restored and a brand new dovo that I'm not going to hone untill I have the technique down, just ordered 2 gold dollar razors to practice on. Had 3 full shaves with a straight with no nicks now and finding it much more forgiving then a shavette. But not all good news just destroyed my strop getting to big for my boots.
