Welcome to the forum!
Are you leaning towards the new production straight razors or the beautiful old vintage blades, notice you mention you have a nice old Wade and Butcher, I have a few of those, they are pretty much my favorite.

Thanked: 3795If you update your profile to include your location, or if you just state it here, then you will increase the likelihood of finding someone to help you with one on one help. Also, it helps for notifications for meet-ups. Another option is to do an advanced search based on location in the members list under the community tab of the toolbar.
Regardless of the approach used, if you can find someone competent to give you one on one help, then you will improve your honing much faster.
You have a pretty good set of hones!
