Hi Benz & welcome aboard. I haven't looked at everyones posts yet because I just noticed this after being gone yesterday & I have been having internet issues also. That's good you are sending them out to Lynn to get freshened up. He'll do ya right! Myself, I have given it some thought about sending one particular to Lynn to see the difference between a true pro honer & myself. I have a Fredericks that has an incredible smile to it & it came from the Zebediah Ingalls Homestead 1850's Estate & is truly a beautiful razor. I want to leave it as it is since it looks to be in really nice shape for it's age. I'm sure you are very careful with that family heirloom. Great to have you here & if you have any questions just ask.
    Good luck my friend.

I am pretty sure they are being phased out, but some can probably be found still.

Are you on I29 somewhere? With the $ the way it is right now, you could live like Donald Trump on a $20 bill in Canada.

For anyone wondering...Orbits were white round trash receptacles at highway (or should that be Pot Hole) rest stops. Signs leading up to them would read: "Put your trash into Orbit"

I plan on sending them to Lynn after the holidays are over to avoid losing them in shipping. I'm sure they will take some work by him, but after watching most of his youtube videos I'm confident in his work.

I'm on I-94 pretty close to the middle of the state. I'm really surprised at the number of my Canadian neighbors who are members here. Back in the early 80's I did some big game hunting in Manitoba. Great country and great people.

Hmmm.... that's makes you perdy close to Fargo, no?

Nice area, I've been to Fargo more times than I care to shake a stick at. Then again, homeland security has taken the fun out of crossing the border... I don't often cross it these days.

In case yer interested, I'm going to try for a larger mini meet this spring up in Winnipeg. With a bit of luck, we might even coax some of them fancypants Minnesota hone hoggers up here, even if they only display their "collection" to irritate the rest of us. (I sure hope you Minnesota folk have a sense of humour, AND a thick skin!).

So far it look looks like there's only bekk and myself, but I'm hoping at least one or two more chime in, come spring time when the potholes start to grow....<sigh>

This will probably be a last ditch effort on my part as the Mrs. and I are hoping to move to Saskatchewan next year.... Probably close to the Alberta border. Why? Just cuz....

    Regards

I'm a skosh over 200 miles due west of Fargo. I agree with you about the homeland security issue. All the hassle has prevented me from visiting Canada again.
