Keep that mentality going forward, and send your blade out for a while and not spend money in hones, right now the only way you will know shave ready is by who hones it. Myself I've never had one honed by Larry , but he has a following. Plus if you want to stay inexpensive plus be able to see what your buying , might I suggest the classifieds here.
