    Hello all,
    I have been wanting to jump into the straight razor world for a few years now. While I don't have a razor yet, I'm glad I found this community so I can educate myself as best I can before I shell out my hard earned cash. I'm a military man so I have to shave way more than I'd like to so I'm looking forward to turning this chore into something I enjoy.

    Thanks, I'm really excited. My first str8 is in the mail and I happened upon a decent Rolls Razor which I want to get into working order. I'm still amazed how much great info is here!

    Welcome to SRP. You will find that if you have to shave more than you like a straight razor will be kinder to your face. Enjoy your new shaving experience.
