It is intimidating. Does she use a DE, or have you ever done her legs for her? It is an amazing self care ritual for at home "spa days." I would encourage her to watch the Queen's videos on YouTube, it may help put her mind at ease.

We are an active bunch in the MN/WI area and have occasional meet-ups. You would be welcome to join in and it would be a great opportunity for you to get more hands on experience with honing or stropping or anything else you need.
