Thanked: 0Wisconsin Lady
Hello all from Wisco! I am a lady straight shaver, just starting out using a refurbished 3 1/2 inch blade on my legs and loving my results so far. I'll most likely lurk about, gathering info from other posts but if I feel the need I'll ask direct questions.

Hello Ophelia,
Welcome to Straight Razor Place. Where are you located in Wisconsin?

Wisconsin Lady
Welcome. As an Amateur cyclist I shave my legs but not with a straight. I should give it a go someday but always figured it cumbersome with knees and virtually no flat surfaces. I actually prefer an epilator these days.
I once offered to trim my wife's bikini line with a straight once. She wasn't up with the idea! For the life of me I can't figure out why.

Thanked: 0It does take some practice at what I like to call "shaving yoga." The knee is scary at first, and a good preshave and lather is extra key due to the wrinkly-ness. Otherwise it's no different than a face.
Stay away from the bikini area, unless you'd like to redefine "fire crotch." There's just no way to adequately stretch that skin, IMO.
