Brother you sure are in the right town, Ron(utopian) is a great resource for all there is to razors stropping, and honing. Randy is a gold mine when it comes to info and is always ready to give personal help, you hit the jackpot for location, I have to drive many miles to meets to hook up with those guys. Echoing what Ron said, stropping might be the single most important task to learn next to not cutting yourself, you can keep an edge going for a really long time with proper stropping
