Thank you for the warm welcome. I made sure to include all of the suggested tips in my last shave which went pretty well.
The shavette has felt pretty tricky from the start. I have been watching the classifieds and searching eBay for a reputable used $50-$75, 5/8 straights that has been honed and are shave ready. The Dubl Ducks, Wackers, and other straights with a Shefield blades have caught my eye.

Welcome to the forum, and I really hope you get a good blade and have fun.
I had some issues at first coming from DE shaving. The only issue I have now is I don't have the money to buy all the razors I want...pofo likes this.Fact: Opinions are not the same as facts... Well, that's my opinion anyway
