    Thanks alpla444 I have seen the light. But I tried mine Friday night and lets just say it was a blood bath, Looked like I had committed murder in the bathroom, I cut my ear lobe and being on blood thinners and anti clotting. The wife was putting that stuff on that's like a plaster in a bottle, then blowing on my ear to stop the blood after 2 hours.

    All of us have done what you did so don't feel too bad. A nick or two is par for the course. The trick is to shave off the lather. The only way to do that is to lay the spine of your razor in such a way as almost touching your skin. Be very gentle with short strokes. You will get better so do persevere. This hobby is a lot of fun. Take your time. And enjoy the journey. Welcome aboard.
