Hi all I'm new to this I am a DE shaver and I fancy going on to the Straights I do have 2 well 1 and 1 so called straight

Lincoln you say, Well it just so happens you have a straight razor specialist just a city over from you in Nottingham.

Gary Haywood the man who owns and runs it, Is a barber and trader in straights. He does honing, Sells coticule sharpening stones, Strops, and cheap ready to shave razors. If you call him and have a chat he will be more than happy to have you call in look and have a look at his stock. You can probably arrange to have your razor honed if it needs it, and I think he can give you a shave with your own razor at his standard pricing.
IMHO you would be a fool not to contact him and have a trip over because you will learn more in that visit than you would in a few weeks on the forums.
