The Prodigal Child Returns
Hi everyone,
I'm not sure if any of you remember, it's been so long. I was an active member here and an aspiring novice a few years ago, made a few friends, had a good time, and now I'm back. I had the misfortune to fall asleep driving & hit a guardrail a while back. As my luck would have it the guardrail buckled and pierced my truck like a spear, breaking my left leg just above the ankle and shattering my right leg, almost severing it. Long story short, I lost my right leg above the knee, have been dealing with chronic pain in my left foot, lower back and phantom pains in my right leg, ptsd with plenty of flashbacks, depression & anxiety attacks ever since. I'm still unable to work due to the pain & anxiety. Figured coming back to one of my old haunts might help with the old morale.
Anyways, I'm just explaining my absence, not really looking for sympathy. Wanted to say hello, & hopefully maybe a few who remember me might still be around.

Welcome back Ken. Glad you survived that terrible accident, and I hope you'll recover from the chronic pain eventually.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Thanks all!
I don't expect AD to be an issue dinnermint as I still have my 7-day set of Wacker Chevaliers & living off disability until God knows when. I love a French tip, so those will suit me just fine. I will be sending them to Lynn for honing though, they've sat idle for nearly 4 years now.
