    Hello,

    My name is David, and I'm from a small town in North Dakota. I'm 24 years old and just beginning my adventure into straight razor shaving. It was terrifying to shave the first time, but I tried again today and felt a little more comfortable. Looking forward to learning the art of straight razor shaving from everyone here. Thanks.

    Welcome to SRP!

    I think starting out you'll find most shaves will tend to be a little better than the last. It feels really good the first time you manage a really smooth shave all over with no irritation or nicks.

    It just takes time, put your location in your profile so guys who are close to you can assist you, I know we have a couple guys out that way, Benz ( Srp screen name)I know has been straight shaving longer than you have been alive, so could be a help to you, and make sure your razor is honed PROPERLY, so you can learn well.     Are you anywhere near New Salem ND? I hope so as there is experienced help there/well close to town there.
    Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdin’s cave of 'stuff'.
