Welcome to the great world of straights. The deceiving word of shave ready is the demise of the straights being more successful. So many newbies start and have a bad starting experience and say this is not for me. Once you shave with a great edge, you will be hooked.

I strop before and after each shave and I have mineral oil on a cloth that's kept in a mason jar and wipe the blade when done stropping before putting blade away. Enjoy your journey, ask many questions, and maste shaving with the straight.
