Hi and welcome. For angle you can start flat against the skin and lift till it feels right. Always better to go shallower than steeper. Good luck and any questions feel free to ask

Hello and Welcome, never mind age you are as young as you feel Or so I am told
Anyway feel free to ask for assistance any time and the library is a great place to get started. I always like to caution that a shavette in my opinion is more likely to bite than a real straight razor. As state lay the blade holder and all gently against your skin and start to move it increasing the angle away from your skin and you will feel it start to remove hair. In my experience the shavette spine is farther away from my skin than a straight razor.
Gentle touch with either blade, shave the lather as they say. Take your time and you will do well.
Nothing is fool proof, to a sufficiently talented fool...
