Hi and welcome. Bengals are a good blade. Send it for a pro honing to get it shave ready. You will want to get a second razor to learn honing but that is better left for later. Good luck and any questions feel free to ask.
My wife calls me......... Can you just use Ed

Welcome to SRP. I'll add my recommendation to the advice that you get a shave ready razor to begin with. You can also send your Bengali out to be honed as a starter.

I agree with what has been said. Send it off to be properly honed. Buy a second one and send them both off for honing. Use only one until you think its not working well then pick up the second one that is still right and try it. You will be getting the first stages that teach you what shave ready really is. Not what a factory calls shave ready. And this way you will still have a sharp blade on hand when you send one off for honing.
It's just Sharpening, right?
